New York City is not only made of concrete or glass, there are a few green and flowered paradises...
In Central Park, it's easy to find beautiful subjects and flirt with them like these flowers or the entry head plant.
I voluntarily darken and made brown the background to highlight the bright flower color:
I've taken this one in the Riverside Park, which is on the West Coast of Manhattan:
Battery Park City has also some very good models but more rare, it was a bit more difficult to find the right inspiration.
A very small and artificial place where we could find some greenery in Lower West Side is the Irish Hunger Memorial:
My favorite place is still the High Line!
And even by night, the artificial light is pretty suitable for shooting but I missed a tripod.
Two bokeh from Thanksgiving day and I'm sorry but these haven't been taken in New York City but in Massapequa Park, Long Island.
